Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear amber colour lasting white head. Ester hoppy aroma. Some decent peach apricot nectarine flavour. Some decent hoppy finish. Some biscuit malt even. Malty definitely. Some peachy biscuit. Yes quite likeable. Well it's perfectly acceptable. Decent hoppy finish.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Some esters on aroma. Some malt I guess. Some sweetness. More a strong blond than a triple to be honest. Quite strong esters banana and peach. Not much hop. Sweetish strong blond.

Another in this Kékette series, which enjoys great commercial success in northern France; thanks tderoeck for sharing. Irregularly lacing, moussy, snow white head, lightly hazy, warm 'old gold' robe. Aroma of dried out white bread, banana, muesli, grass, soggy corn, iron, raw cucumber, plastic. Subduedly sweetish onset, low estery notes of pear and banana, medium carbonation; slick and oily, bit thinnish mouthfeel. Cereally, simple blonde malt body, straightforward and thinnish, pale lager-like but less sharply carbonated and more rounded and soapy. Some lingering honeyish sweetness meet a grassy hop bitterish touch in the finish but the whole remains very simple and superficial. Simplistic sweetish quencher for the broad masses who aren't used to many more beer styles than your plain old industrial standard lager - understandably popular in that sense, like the other Kékettes.

3/II/18 - 33cl bottle from La Cave Du Vénitien (La Roche-en-Ardenne), shared @ Nieuwjaarsreceptie Gentse Biervereniging - BB: 27/II/19 (2018-82) Thanks to all members for sharing!

Clear blond to light orange beer, creamy irregular to aery white head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: lots of ripe banana, sweet, fruity, some candy, sugary, peaches. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit malty, sweet, metallic kind of bitterness, meh. Aftertaste: more metallic, overripe banana, candy, unpleasant. Don't like this one.

F: medium size, white, average retention. C: deep gold, clear. A: malty, caramel, biscuit, bit bread, bit fruity. T: sweet malty, caramel, very weak bitterness, only medium body for 8,5%, this is actually more Bière de Garde than Tripel, too vaguely sweet and simple to be fully enjoyed, lower carbonation, 33cl bottle from Carrefour express near Gare Centrale in Brussels.
