Bottle thanks to Anthony. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is intense apricot, lemon zest, oak, funk. Thin body, juicy apricot, light funk, balanced acidity, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

Vintage 2018. purple hazy color, small pink head. smells super unique, flowery, elder flowery, cherries, raspberry, heavy spices, some curcuma, subtle currant notes. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of sour cherries, marzipan, some elder flowers, heavy spices, curcuma, rasbperry, bit herbal, stone fruits. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of curcuma, elder flowers and some cherry notes. very unique beer, heavy on the spices, the fruits and flowers blend together very well, nothing sticks out too much for me, very nice stuff.

750 ml bottle, 2018 vintage, bottled 10/07/20, shared by Werckmeister, thanks! Deep, dark red body, with a big, frothy, dissipating, pinkish head. Aroma mainly of elderflower and sweet-sour raspberry, moderate funk, slight cherry. Tastes quite similar, with more jammy raspberry, more sour cherry. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes smooth, moderate sour, slightly funky, with elderflower, raspberry, moderate cherry, a bit spicy. Tasty. Really interesting, the elderflower is quite dominant, while there are also lots of fruit notes, especially raspberry. Drinks a bit heavier, while elegant and balanced. Lovely, characterful stuff. Aroma of ripe apricot, moderate barnyard, some basement, some citrus, almond, some wood. Tastes quite similar, with more citrus, moderate vinegar. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes medium sour, quite dry, wooden, citric, with green apple, moderate vinegar, apricot. Tasty! Quite as expected, lots of apricot, medium funk and a dry finish. Not as complex as Fou Foune for example, but very well balanced and lovely to drink. Really enjoyable stuff. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 5 / 17 2023-08-13: 2020 vintage. Lots of apricot, more on the sour side. Enjoyed the 2019 vintage a bit more.

09.10.2022: 0,75l bottle shared at home. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells peaches, jammy, very fruity, apricot jam. lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes peaches, jammy, apricot jam, peach pits, cinnamon. finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of peaches, cinnamnon and stone fruits. loved the smell, taste is very nice too, rather on the dry side though. overall great stuff
