Backlog: bottled. Aroma’s: malty/grainy, a bit spicy herbal, hop-aromatic, some malty sweetness. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter. Light bodied, not too thin. Finishes with a nice bitterness.

50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Bottle conditioned, but pouring bright amber with a ring of translucent head and leaving a thin yeast deposit on the bottom of the bottle; aroma of mulled spices - cinnamon and cloves to the fore; rich and smooth in the mouth with a malty bodied, the spices are quite subtle and warming. A well balanced winter ale.

50cl bottle from the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy copper colour with a trace of cream head and light carbonation, leaving a hefty layer of sediment in the clear bottle; aroma of toffee and earthy malts; chewy, malty body with a touch of spice and caramel sweetness and citrus; then an earthy bitterness to finish, with a hint of citrus. Very drinkable.

Poured a brilliant clear pale gold colour with a trace of white head and light carbonation, leaving a hefty layer of sediment in the clear bottle; earthy malt aroma; chewy, malty body with a touch of orange and citrus; then an earthy bitterness to finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Deep copper coloured pour with small beige head on top. Fruity/bready aroma. Fruity, hoppy, bready taste. Refreshing and a very pleasant beer indeed. This beer is brewed at Hambleden near Henley which is a really beautiful English village.
