Land-Grant Brewing Company is a commercial brewery and taproom, located in the East Franklinton neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio. It is a production facility producing kegs and cans of craft beer for the Ohio market with an onsite taproom that serves fresh beer in a comfortable atmosphere.

Hazy apricot color with a medium thick bone white head that recedes gradually to a film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of zesty grapefruit, resiny hop and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrus and hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Slightly hazy pale orange color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Herbal hops, fruit and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

The beer is a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hop, citrus and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Full-bodied with flavors of grapefruity hops, melon and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Hazy yellow color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of citrus, wheat, hops and malt. Light-bodied with a tart lemony character and flavors of grassy hops and biscuit malt. The finish is tart with a citrus and hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Keg pour at the taproom in Columbus. Pours opaque very dark brown to black with a beige head. Aroma: sweet & roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, hints of coffee. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, dark malts, dark fruits, cacao nibs. Medium body, light carb, dry bitter finish. I found this a little dull for the style

Can sourced online from Brewdog. Pours lightly hazed golden yellow with a white top. Aroma: pale malts, bread, herbal, floral hop. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, clean, floral, light citrus, grassy hop. Light to medium body, average carb, light dry finish.
