Bottle. Pours gold brown. Biscuit, plum, raspberry, sulfur, lingering finish. Rough body. Not great.

Bottle. Had this at Elano's, which is in Bole, near Hotel Lobelia. Dark brown colour. Big thick head. Toasty, slightly buttery aroma with light fruitiness. Nice toastiness, rich roast. Lots of bitterness, and just a touch of fruitiness. A solid, though not amazing FES. Seems odd they'd use a relatively buttery base beer, as that character clashes with the stout extract - even FES syrup cannot overcome diacetyl. Enjoyable at first, but by the end of the bottle I was done.

Clear, golden colored, medium white head. Aroma is of malt, honey, some adjunct, unclean fruity esters. Taste is medium sweet malt and honey, corn, some fruitiness but not all that pleasant. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. (bottle, Debre Birhan, Ethiopia)
