Bottle@Jens - Black pour with tanned ring head. Aroma and taste is dark roasted malty with notes of caramel and chocolate, earthy roast, charred burnt malty into the finish. Good stuff.

Bottle, 5.6%, not a black IPA. Clear amber, huge airy offwhite froth. Weak caramely aroma. Sweet, caramely flavour with light orangy bitterness. IPA? Maybe. ’Crazy IPA 120 IBU’ as it says on the label? Never... Still almost one year until BBD, can’t imagine what this would be like 10 months from now. Not gonna miss Coisbo...

Cloudy amber, white froth. Weak grape, malt and caramel aroma. Sweetish flavour, light caramel and fruity hops. Not a very good IPA, certainly lacks character for a SH-IPA.

Bottle 33 cl. 5.6% according to the bottle - and certainly not a Black IPA. Pours amber with a slight haze and a lacing off-white head. Aroma of old stale hops, extremely off. Body is medium, caramellish, oddly chemical with a very, very unpleasant tang. It’s skunky, full of cabbage. Very raw and unrefined late bitterness. BB280218 Coisbo seems to be deteriorating even faster than anybody had expected. 030417

Bottle @Curing Lillquist’s man-flu. Pours hazy amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with notes of malt and yeast. Intense, bitter flavour of hops, with notes of citrus and fruit and malty and etsey touches. Bitter aftertaste with estery notes. Reasonable.

Bottle, 8.2%. Mild caramelly aroma. Hazy dark golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is caramelly and slightly fruity from the hops. Has a little alcohol punch, but it is nice and mellow. Good mouthfeel. A simple, perhaps even one-dimensional example of the style, but quite good, I think.

Hazy amber, small white head. Pine and caramel aroma. Sweet flavour, caramel, slightly floral with some fruityness. Nicely drinkable, not as heavy as the aroma suggests.
