Bottle. Very dark brown, small beige head. Aroma has roasted malt and alcohol, light caramel notes. Alcoholic caramel flavour, notes of licorice. Finishes with a not so elegant ethanol burn. No trace whatsoever of the pretenciously promised ginger, lemongrass and rosebuds.

Clear, very dark brown. Thick beige head. Very light smoky aroma, slightly meaty with some roasted malt. Flavour has roasted malt, caramel and very, very light smoke. Certainly drinkable but not really what I consider a smoked beer.
