Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Heavy clove and cinnamon aroma - xmas spices. Medium body, sweet caramel but pretty much everything is overpowered by the spices. Some late bitterness. If I could just sense there was a quality Bock in there somewhere, but it’s just a sloppy base beer with some poor quality acrid bittering hops. To my taste this is simply horrible and everything a Christmas beer should not be. 210116

Bottle. An unclear orange colored beer with a dense, finger thick white head. The aroma is rather malty, almost bready and toffee-ish, with piney, resiny and grassy hops. The flavor is pretty much the same, too much on the bready side, too much oh the toffee side, and the piney, grapefruity hops and bitterness are too subdued. Full body and a nice carbonation. Long malty finish. Not much interesting going on here. 160116

Bottle 330ml. [ As Coisbo Christmas Bock ].Unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, cookie, fruity malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, bread, cookie. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160109]

33 cl bottle, courtesy of my Dad, thanks! Slightly hazy amber-golden colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, spices and toasted notes. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with caramel malts and fruity-spicy hints. Very pleasant Christmas Bock.
