Brewery draught, 2/16/25.
Clear golden-brass. Small, white head.
Floral, piney, but not resinous aromatics. Long spice and sprucey dryness. White bread-like malts balance nicely. Love the lack of medium malts.
Soft, juicy, gently bitter. Leafy, green, piney herbage with a burly maltiness to easily balance. Clean, no resin, no toast. Maybe a bit lacking in complexity. Just a lot of white bread and pine. But certainly well-done for a non-NEIPA.

Brewery draught, 2/16/25.
Clear medium amber. Reasonable sized, beige head.
Really fruity with a mix of yeast, hop and malt. Some toast, not overdone. Floral hops linger.
Bitter, floral hops balance good base malt character, with specialty malt contributing a light caramel and toast character. Good body, drying out nicely on the end. Getting ESB vibes.

Brewery draught, 2/16/25.
Clear with copper and mahogany. Small, beige head to ring.
Beany, heavy specialty malt doesn't seem to clear despite a lot of warming and breathing.
Good bitterness and fairly roasty and toasty, though not beany like the nose (old coffee beans). Lightly herbal and floral hops with a rich base malt and good depth. Pretty good attenuation. Not a ton of mineral or lager yeast character. Almost feels brown ale-like. Retronasal hops are enjoyable.

Cask at gbbf 2022 day 1. A clear golden yeloow coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is soft base makts, floral citrus, zesty, pine licks. Sap. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded malts, varnish, pine, sap. We'll done. Palate is semi sweet, nutty. Moderate. Pretty good.

Undated can from the brewery drunk 12/10/24. Lightly-to-moderately cloudy, deep cherry cough drop. Large, cherry-to-white head, good retention. Creamy, nutty wheat, tart cherry, fruity, lots of skin tannin, with black pepper and some buttery diacetyl which doesn't come across unpleasant or problematic. Though perhaps dulls the brightness somewhat. Low lactic character, per the series. Never punchy. Oh man, that's incredibly well-done cherry. Rich juiciness, lightly tart, lightly peppery. Again, not too lactic, not punchy. Light salinity, excellent wheat character, nutty, creamy, chewy. I think, perhaps, I have mistaken it for diacetyl in the nose, as there doesn't seem to be any diacetyl here whatsoever. Another knockout from this gose master.

16 oz can. Smells like fish sauce and a mild chili. Flavor is soft ash and a sour note that should not be here. Holy hell! What happened here? Bad canning line? Undrinkable.

Undated can drunk 12/8/24. Dark, clear, little/no head. Smells like....fermented tofu? Peanut? Fish sauce! That's it, fish sauce! Tastes like soured, infected beer with chili pepper! Alright!
Fish sauce, sour, not good.

Undated can from the brewery drunk 11/21/24. Moderately-to-heavily cloudy, bright melon-peach-bronze. Small, yellow-tinted head quickly to ring. Rich blend of coriander, mild lactic acid, nutty wheat and juicy-floral cucumber. Solid malt backing adding succulent honey to really give this thing a richness well beyond its abv. Juicy, floral, rich and yet brightened by all this lovely, authentic cucumber. Malty body with mellow lactic acidity and supportive wheat and salinity. Lingering floral notes and mildly juicy cucumber. It's all so balanced, flavorful, light and satisfying.

Undated can from the brewery, drunk 11/10/24. Dark mahogany with garnet highlights. Clear. Large, dark beige head, moderate retention. PNW hops with light chocolate, mild, rounded toast and nutty oatmeal. Oak is slight in the nose, probably wouldn't pick it out blind, but maybe. Clean, aromatic... In the mouth it's oakier, though never too much so. No big tannins. Good, rich malts with caramel and toast and nutty, chewy oats. Well-attenuated and mildly oaky leading to a pleasant, complex finish that is clean and dry. Lingering toasted oak, chocolate and walnut-like notes.
