Sample at the kickoff party at Homebrewcon Dark brown with a decent sized off white head that persists. Light roast and chocolate against some citrus and resinous hops. Nice to have some malt in the mix.

Draught at Bukowski's Inman, 7/20/18.
Cloudy, pale, straw-golden with pencil yellow hues and a white head that is medium-sized and shows moderate retention.
Peach is authentic and aromatic, integrated with the wheat and light lactic character nicely. No punchiness or much tang, yet not ultra-juicy. Just very even and well-aged/lagered, it seems with no alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it shows a good mix of sweet and tart. Not overly saline, but with a supple, biscuity, nutty wheat backbone and light juice. Peach is well-attenuated and integrated showing light spice, leather and flesh notes. Engaging, lower carbonation and no alcohol or flaw. They set an incredibly high bar with their black currant gose, but this is still nothing to scoff at.

Draught at Bukowski's, Inman Square, 6/14/18.
Deep, dark purple, opaque/cloudy. Pink-violet head shows moderately-strong retention.
Currant and salt are juxtaposed nicely with light wheat-like creaminess behind it. Clean with great, expressive fruit notes that are authentic and well-integrated. Vibrant, tart and salty with even a touch of smoke.
Salty, dry, soft, tart/piquant in the flavor. Pretty much everything you want from a gose. It's highly flavorful and fruity, yet tart and piquant ending on a quenching saltiness. Well-malted and very juicy, to-boot. Wow, if this is indicative of the general quality of beer from Flying Dreams, then I've really been missin' out. Great textures here, with well-integrated, large amounts of fruit. Extremely clean and snappy with no preponderance of lactic acid.
