Draft pour pint at Pete's, listed as Narrows Porter. Dark near black cola pour, active fizzing foam head. Sweet chocolate malts, nutty grain, cereal, slightest hint of dark fruit. Easy drinking flavorful light porter. Has a sweet side that is a little too much for my taste. Good for a change up on a divey bar menu.

Medium brown, no head. Spicy aroma is quite attractive. Deep cinnamon and nutmeg, bright, touch of chocolate, good body. For something this assertively spiced it comes together quite well. Is there ginger in here, too? Another day, another tasty pumpkin porter.

Dark brown, thick head, especially for a bw. Rich toffee, lightly fruity, hints of dried apricots. Soft malt, touch of port in the finish. Splash of alcohol. Solid work.

Gold, thin head. This has a nice piney hop aroma. Slight biscuity pale malt, hint of alcohol, light orange.

On tap at The Living TapRoom, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out oily piney hops, some resins, and biscuity malt. Flavour is full of pungent pine cones, bitter citrus hops, and crisp biscuity malt. I'm liking the bitter pine cone hops here. Not a sophisticated IPA but nicely made. Solid stuff.

On tap at Narrow, pours a deep dark brown with an amber tinge and a small tan head. Aroma reveals deep caramel, toffee, some gentle port barrels, and a touch of dark fruits. Flavour is full of dark fruits, port barrel booziness, caramel and brown sugar. Quite boozy—this maybe needs blending and/or aging. Flavours are good but it needs a little refining. Good.

On tap at Narrows, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of pumpkin pure, lots of cinnamon, and a touch of barrel. Flavour is rich, with lots of cinnamon, pumpkin pure / squash pure, some bourbon, and a touch of cocoa. Dry, cinnamony, barrely. This is surprisingly nice.

On tap at Narrows, pours a deep dark amber / burgundy with a small beige head. Aroma is very malty and rich, with big caramel and toffee malt, dark dried fruits, and a touch of resinous hops. Flavour is extremely rich, with huge dark dried fruits, tons of caramel malt, and just bit of resinous hops. A bit too sugary and brutal, but has some undeniably nice flavour elements. Solid heavy hitter.

On tap at Narrows, pours a hazy bright peachy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very sweaty, like they've tortured the hops here; there's also some bitter grapefruit rind. Flavour is much better, surprisingly, with lots of stone fruits, piney hops, some resins, and sweet bready malt on the underside. Reasonably balanced, but still a bit sweaty on the hops. Good.

On tap at Narrows, pours a red-tinged dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of toasted malt, a tiny hint of coconut and a touch of cracked black pepper. Flavour is dry, with barely any coconut noticeable; there's a fairly dry, sturdy toasted malt base, with minimal residual sweetness. I'd like more coconut and more structure to the base beer. Okay.
