Flying Couch Brewing was founded in 2011 as a gipsy brewery and has since 2015 changed to a physical self-owned brewery located in the northwestern part of Copenhagen.

The beer is mainly found in the Copenhagen area but is also distributed by Det Belgiske Hus to the rest of Denmark.

Export occurs occasionally and includes Spain, Sweden (Elixir & Wine), Norway, Finland, Austria, the UK, The Netherlands and more.

Tap @ Cardinal. Black body under a dense, beige head. Fine aroma of dark, roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Taste has a fine balanced sweetness, dark roasted malt, coffee, rye bread, dark chocolate and pleasant bitterness. Fine body with pleasant aftertaste. Tasty, quite refreshing and well balanced.

Small sample from tap at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour, tan head. Aroma and flavour of roast malts, black rye bread, coffee and dark bitter chocolate. Enjoyable.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours dark brown with dense beige head. Aroma of dark bread, chocolate, fruits. Tastes slightly sweet, balanced by fruity sourness and bitterness. Thin to medium bodied.

Draught at Skaal Sønderborg. Roasted aroma, raw liquorice. Black colour. Small off-white head. The flavour has a good raw liquorice note. Not sweet and not dry, but well-balanced. Long liquorice aftertaste.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, with estery and coffeelike touches. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of malt and yeast, and touches of hops and lactose. Roasty and malty aftertaste with estery touches. Very nice for the style and decent as such.

Draught at Skaal Sønderborg. God fruity and juicy aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Small stable white head. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour has a teaish hoppiness. Not so juicy as expected from the aroma. Not very sweet either. High carbonation with hard bubbles.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours cloudy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with notes of fruit and malt, and touches of yeast. Bitter flavourbof hops and citrus, with estery notes and fruity touches. Citric and hoppy aftertaste with estery notes. Reasonable.
