Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is refreshing with sweet notes of malt as well as straw and some citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of bread, citrus, straw, and oranges, as well as light notes of alcohol, leading to a bitter finish where straw and citrus notes lingers.

2009-10-09, draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen, 6-3-7-3-14=33
Deep blond color. The aroma is light, some malt and sugar. It’s a strange Bock, it has some of the good malt qualities of crispy Lagers, which is positive, maybe even a light Ale fruitiness; it has a good body strength and some sweetness. In the end it has a corky feeling, like a Bière de Garde. Pleasant.
2008-09-26, draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, 6-4-6-3-13=32
Hazy amber color. It has the typical Danish grassy and grainy aroma, round sweet body, caramel flavor, correct bitterness. Pleasant.

Golden with a small white head. Malty aroma with a little grass and fruit. Sweet malty flavour with fruity notes of pear and apricot. Landøl 2.7%: malty aroma with grain, biscuit and unfermented wort along with a hint of herbal hops. Sweetish malty flavour with grain and biscuit and a touch of dark malt. Herbal notes, grass and hay. Quite thin and slightly unbalanced. 3.0 rating for this version.

Copenhagen Beer Festival, May 2012. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Lots of dried fruit in the aroma, fortified wine, alcohol, a slightly roasted note and early oxidation. Sweet and rich flavour of toffee, prunes and raisins with a mild roasted finish
In 2016: Beginning to taste oxidized. Still a very classy beer. Aroma could easily be a 9 now, though the flavour is lower score than before.
