Bottle at Kolding Ølmesse. Served an almost clear, golden body with a white head. Good aroma but lacking complexity, with banana and some spicyness doing the job. The same goes for the flavor, which is more pronounced on the spices, mostly cloves, and there’s also a bitterness. Medium fullness, quite effervescent. A quite pleasant, refreshing beer, but I’d rather put my money in a Franziskaner, which also is cheaper. (080229)

Bottle at Kolding Ølmesse. Poured a slightly pale golden, clear body with a white head. The aroma started with a faint sour touch, but was mostly fruity and malty. Pale malt, a little fruityness and hops in the flavor, medium fullness. Sure not bad, but rather boring. Herslev make some fine beers, but this wasn’t impressive at all. Rating: 5-3-5-3-10-2.6. 080229
Bottle. A slightly unclear one, pale golden in color and with a dense, white head on top. Slightly sourish on the citrusy, fruity nose. Some grains. The flavor is very evidently hoppy, not very bitter but with pinecones. Smooth, medium bodied and semi-dry. Not your regular pilsner, but sure pleasant. 110621

Draft. An unclear orange beer with a medium off-white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty and fruity - especially mango, but also a light touch of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty and wheaty, but with a strong note of fruit - again especially mango, but also with a light touch of pineapples. The finish is dry and wheaty. The body is thin.

From tap at Den Tatoverede Enke. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a dense off-white head. Orange fruity and mild wheaty aroma. Lovely orange and light citrus fruity falvour. Smooth and mild sweet caramel malt base. More balanced and smooth compared to the QWit. Sweet and light fruity finish.

Bottle at the Laid Back Brussels Tasting (Feb 9, 2008)
Amber, muddy body. Lightly brown, creamy to fizzy head. Aroma of hops, caramel: a good complexity and balance. Lightly sweet initial flavour, moderately bitter, lightly sweet finish? Reminds me of chamomile tea. Quite nice.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of grain, straw, caramel, and berries. The flavor is sweet and very malty combined with notes of grain, caramel, pumpernickle bread, and berries, as well as light notes of alcohol, leading to a dry slightly woody and malty finish.
