Dark amber with a lasting white head. Malty aroma of biscuit and dark bread with loads of dried fruit. Sweet malty flavour with peach and dried fruit and just a touch of rough alcohol. Much more promising than last year's brew, and than the barley and wheat wines.

Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma of white bread and biscuit with a spicy note and a touch of alcohol. Sweet malty and spicy flavour with notable alcohol.

Amber with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with toffee and biscuit, and hints of peach and citrus. Sweet malty flavour with a lot of hops and a touch of sharp alcohol. Hopefully improves with a year or two in the cellar. Two years later, the aroma has even more peach and apricot. The alcohol has has really softened, while the whisky barrel comes out more clearly, with hints of smoke. Was 3.6 - now 4.0.

Label is different, looks like alandscape with a yellow top. named RUGØL. 6.9% Clear amber, smooth light brown head Aroma is sweet malts, bitter malts, rye, roasted malts. faint syrupy or flowery note. quite nice, winter warmer aroma. flavor is rye, lightly roasted malts, dark bread, faint nutty note. very drinkable malty rye ale.

Dark ruby with a lasting and creamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, brown sugar and dried fruit with spicy notes including anise. Sweet and full malt flavour with enough body to carry the rather dominating spice.
