Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy lightish straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with touches of bread and banana. Sourish, grainy flavour with sweetish notes of bread, yeast and malt and mild hints of banana. Malty and grainy afteraste with bready touches. Reasonable but rather bready for the style.

Bottle from the brewery webshop. Hazy amber with a lasting, little white head. Aroma of plums, dried prunes, strawberry and a funky touch of damp cellar. Sweet, but tart fruity flavour with prunes and strawberries with hints of oak, sherry and tawny port. Basically a tart barley wine

Bottle from Voldby. Clear very dark red brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, rye and dried fruit. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 280321

Bottle @ Brewery webshop. Shared with SirAlex and BeerBandits. Pours mahogany amber with a small White head. Heavy Dark fruit, port, raisin, Wood and caramel. Full bodied. Low carbonation. Long finish. Fine sipper with a pleasant alcohol warmth.

10 years I guess? It was already aged in 2014, now it is 2021, hoping it is good :) Smell-medium strong, malt, caramel, Belgian, dried plums, ripe fruits, nice. Foam- malt, Belgian, acidic, caramel, dried plums, ripe fruits, roast. Head is tiny, pretty much non-existant light brown color. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, simple label. Few carbonation bubbles, hazy, red-brown-dark color. Close to black but not quite. From - snifter Taste - malty, caramel, sweetness, acidic tones, bitterness, alcohol, Belgian yeast. Very malty, dried plummy, alcohol is definitely noticeable. Very nice, but not amazing, will not seek it again, but worth a try.

Black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of dark malt, dark chocolate, coffee beans and a touch of citrus. Dryish dark flavour with lots of dark chocolate and a hoppy touch of citrus. Really bitter finish, much like the bitterness in dark chocolate. My kind of imperial stout, for sure.
