33 cl bottle poured into a Snifter. Mahogany colour with a golden tinge, a few white bubbles on top. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, toasted notes, fruits and faint liquorice. Taste is sweet. Medium body. Drying fruity spiced finish. Nice Winter Warmer.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some grains, mild herbs and a wee bit of bready tones. Flavour is roasted malts, some grains, rye, mild ashes as well as some herbal tones. Smooth and easygoing.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, orangey golden with a small, rough, white head. Sweet, malty nose with hints of earthy, English hops and some alcohol. Rich, sweet, malty body - simplistic and clean with just sufficient bittering hops. Fine and straight as it is, but some age and oxidation might actually add some layers of complexity. 230223

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with an off-white head. Faint estery, Belgian nose, but mostly sugary. Rich, sweet, fruity and spicy body with some Belgian esters. Warming alcohol finish with little bitterness. Nice brew, a little less sweetness woul've made it more drinkable. 230223

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Sweet Bourbon nose with plenty of vanilla - totally overpowering the base beer. Rich body, sweet caramel and brown sugars with a distinct touch of woody tannins. Warming alcohol finish. The Bourbon barrel has done very good things to this beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a small, roughish off-white head. Overripe fruit nose, slight cranberry tartness. Rich, sweet body, Belgian esters, overripe fruit and brown sugars. Warming alcohol finish. Nice if borderline cloying in its sweetness. Maybe some age would do it good. 210223

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a dense and creamy beige head. Vanillaish roast nose. Solid body, but not overwhelmingly so. Smooth and pleasant roastiness, some English licorice and a vanilla touch. Lightly roasty bitterness. A smooth, easy going Imperial Stout. 150223

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Near black, small head. Tart rubbery coffee aroma. Tart with light to medium body and clean, oily mouthfeel. Licorice and sourcream, caramel and coffee. Low to medium bitterness.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small white head. Aroma is toffee, liquorice, some smoked tones and mild toffee. Flavour is liquorice and some roasted tones, toffee and some old cold coffee.
