Tap@Taphouse 3rd Year Anniversary Week, Copenhagen - pours amber with a white head. Sweet fruity and malty aroma and taste, with some sweet caramel and toffee notes, doughy white bready malts, yeast, herbal floral hoppy into the close.

Can. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, bread, and hints of smoke. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and bread, leading to a bitter finish. 8/5/8/4/16

Well stored bottle. Clear dark golden body with a small tan head. Strong in aroma, dry fruit, caramel malt and wood. Flavor is sweet malt, dry fruit, caramel malt, some brown sugar and very smooth, warming vinous alcohol. Full bodied with an incredible balance and long lasting, pleasant aftertaste. Not an ordinary beer whatsoever this.

Well stored bottle. A pitch black body without any head. Strong aroma of dark malt, soy and alcohol. Flavor is almost extreme sweet with dark malt, soy, dry fruit, burnt caramel and boozy alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. OK for a small sipper but way to boozy and sweet.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy coffee brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and biscuit, with touches of yeast and hints of fruit. Bitter, roasty foavour with sweet notes of chocolate, biscuit and caramel, and touches of cloves and cinnamon. Roasty and lactic aftertaste with touches of yeast. Warming alcohol presence. Yummy.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost syrupy thick, opaque black with a dense, light brown head with laces and good retention. More chocolate than roast in the nose, but not an overwhelming nose. Solid body, but not exactly fat. Roast and English licorice. Some molasses, fairly high attenuation. Perhaps I would've liked a little motre sweetness. But a grand Imperial Stout. 060225

Bottle 50 cl.Pours a clear, dark brown with a rough, off-white head. Complex aroma of overripe fruit and faint Bourbon. Rich body of overripe fruits an caramel - extremely sweet and borderline cloying. Warming finish. Very delicious but very hard to drink due to the residual sweetness. 010225
