God - men litt ensformig.

500ml swing-top bottle picked up at Meny Oslo City. Decent white head leaving spotty lacing on the glassware. Hazy golden coloured body. Malt-fruity smell, pale malts, grass, and pineapple. Similar mild taste of pale malts, peach, lemon, and pineapple. Gentle fruit bitterness to the ending. Easy to drink. Fits the season (Cabin on the riverboat Serenade 1, 21.07.2014)

On tap at Gladmat. It pours a dense, white head over a clear, pale golden body. There’s a faint touch of something like dms and diacetyl in the aroma when it warms up a bit, but it’s just a touch. It’s quite fruity, with a nice malty backdrop. Grass and fields of flowers. A decent bitterness deals easily with the little malty sweetness there is, supported by grass, fruityness and pale malts. Medium body and a nice carbonation level, quite dry in the finish. Except for the lightly unpleasant touch in the aroma when the beer warms up, it’s a fine beer to enjoy on a not summer day. Or anytime else. 140726

Bottle shared with McTapps & MichaelAwesome. Pours slightly hazy dark amber airy but stable beige head. Clear malty aroma with some slightly fruity notes and dusty touches. Bitter and dusty onset, giving way to sweetish but discreet malty notes and touches of fruit. Dusty aftertaste. Quite good for a non-German Altbier.

To make a good first impression is vital sometimes. This one could not have made a better first impression. WoW! Outstanding mild hazy amber colour with a lovely tan head that makes on hell of a lacing. Yeah! Fine alt aroma. Bready, fruity and herbal hoppy. Fine body with a fresh mild bitterness. And a fine carbonation. Solid so far. Anything to complain about the flavor? Nope. Balanced herbal hoppy, fruity and toffee/bready. Classy anniversary ale Frank! Recomendable.
