Bottle at home. Pours a very cloudy dark orange colour with a medium, off-white head. Grassy hops in the aroma along with pine, some caramel and grapefruit. The flavour mirrors the aroma with the addition of citrus. Slick mouth feel, and has a medium bitterness. A well-balanced and nicely hopped IPA.

500ml swing top bottle bought at Meny Oslo City and shared with friends back home. Powerful shot followed by smoke when opened. Good amount of lacework from a fair white head. Clear dark coloured body with a deep ruby shade. Mild aroma of earthy malts and noble hops. The taste is a bit jam-like with brown malts and dried fruits. Malt bitter endnotes. Rather flat in the mouth. Accepted. (Tårnrommet, Tromsø 15.05.2014).

Fra kran på Sundbytunet 4 Mai 14. Ultradyprød. Lavt tett skum. God maltaroma. Smaken er søt malt med en svakt syrlig avslutning. Undertone av plommer.

Small bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet fruity, caramel malts, wet hops, dried fruits, grass, pine needles, wet leafs, minerals. Taste is harsh earthy, bark, soil, pine needles, harsh hops, old leafs, grass, sap. Longlasting bitterness, harsh mouthfeel. Meh!

50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours close to clear deep golden with a rather large, white head. Fairly hoppy aroma with citrus, moderate tropical fruits, some grassy and yeast notes and malt. Moderate sweet with nice hoppy and fruity flavours and a pleasant bitterness. Finishes fairly dry. Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a hazy, dark golden body and a huge, rocky and collapsing white head. Quite sweetish aroma with apricots, a herbal touch and a little maltyness. Fruit caramel hints. Too spiced I think, guess Mr Musso have had some influence here. It’s too sweet on the flavor for a saison, a bit spiced and herbal too I think. Mint notes, some alcohol hints, pale malts sweetness, some bitterness. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish. A quite complex one, but also a bit messy. 140509
