Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, citrus, yeasty and light spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Carbonation is on the high side. 231113

Shared 500 ml swingtop bottle, as Sundbytunet ByBayer, at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal. ABV is 4.7%. Reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate aroma, hints of malts and caramel. Malty flavour, not very sweet, notes of caramel and brown bread. Pleasant to drink.

Shared 500 ml swingtop bottle at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6%. Golden colour, clear first, hazy in the end, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma, notes of Belgian ale yeast, white kandij sugar syrup, fruits and mild spices. Spicy / peppery and medium sweet flavour, moderate hops. Not bad.

Fra flaske på DSJT på Cardinal nov-13: lett bitterhet i smaken, kort og noe vandig ettersmak. Sto seg dårlig mot den jeg nettopp hadde tatt (Chrstianssand Brygghus Juleøl). Bør derfor prøves igjen.

Dark brown / pale amber. Thin to medium mouthfeel. Hints of juniper. Aftertaste of hops. Refreshing, although more bitter than a traditional Yule Beer.

Appearance: Clear golden color with a fine white head that leaves some lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, malty and mild hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Balanced malty, mild mild fruity and some faint grassy notes.
Overall impression: Lovely in the summer time. Maybee not suited at a Christmas ale tasting at Nøgne Ø.

Re-rated. Golden body with a white head served by a smiling brewer at Malt & Humle tent, Gladmatfestivalen 2014. Light and uncomplicated refreshing lager with grassy hops and some diacetyl as expected if made tru to the style. Feels fresher served from tap than previous sampled bottle version. Nice for a pilsner.
500 ml bottle, thanks a lot to Cunningham. Almost clear golden body with a decent white head. Quite mild aroma of grain, some fruit and grassy hops. Flavor is light malt, some fruit and grassy, moderate bitterness. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. Decent and refreshing version of a beer style I’m not to found of. Should properly be sampled a bit fresher as well. 6-3-6-3-12

Hazy golden with a off white head - Nice malt aroma with some spicy yeast - A good malt body with some yeast notes , with some descrete flavours of peppers and spice in the back - Lingering malt finish with some spicy yeast notes - This was nice

Appearance: Cloudy golden color with a big white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Mild wheat, banana and yeast.
Palate: Medium + body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Rich carbonation.
Taste: Banana, wheat and yeast.
Overall impression: Another lovely ale from Jessheim. Fresh, tasty and balanced hefe weisse.
