18th Street Brewery was founded as a home brewery by Drew Fox in 2010. After years of hands-on learning and exploration, 18th Street Brewery became official with the release of Sinister DIPA in 2013. Shortly after the Sinister release, we opened a 3,200 square foot brewpub in Gary, IN. Quickly outgrowing that space, we purchased a 32,000 square foot warehouse in Hammond, IN. Our Hammond location now houses our production, packaging, barrel program, a taproom and a full service kitchen. Our original Gary, IN now houses a small 10-barrel open fermentation system, as well as a taproom, craft cocktail bar and kitchen.
We are currently the second largest brewery in Northwest Indiana. Our beers range from saisons to double India Pale Ales to double milk stouts to pilsners and lagers. 18th Street is comprised of hard working, motivated individuals who strive to be the best. We love our jobs. We love our beer. We live and love what we do.

Can from Corti Brothers. Pours light gold with a white head. Aroma of earth and citrus. Med body - varying as carbonation leaves. Flavor is like Kaffir lime with earthiness. Just a hint of sweat sox. It’s pretty dry, and quite tasty. Oh, much more than that. It’s really good.

Pour is a murky orange with a small white head. Aroma is a candi sugar with a spicy herbal-ness. Flavor is a nice yeasty spice with some herbs and a definite saltiness. Finish is spicy and salty. Probably could have held the salt on this one and you may have something. Brewers trying to do too much with adding salt? Keep it simple. I can feel my blood pressure rising after this.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a big blast of pineapple fruit with some yeasty esters and some white pepper. Flavor is more of the tropical fruit blast with lots of yeasty esters. Finish leaves more of the pineapple and mango fruit on the tongue that you can taste long after the swallow. This was awesome stuff.
