Draught from a restaurant in SF. Black to brown pour. Smallish head. Some nice malts and a bit of chocolate bitters.

Can at home. Aroma is chewy and spicy rye malt, bready notes, orange, citrussy hops, some pine. Flavour is a bit sweet from the rye with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Malty and fruity, lovely Rye IPA.

Can from Total Wine in Mountain View, CA. Pours dark gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is apricot with a hint of pie crust. Med body. It's not dry, but not very sugary. Apricot for sure. Something like pie crust. Has a certain bitterness - like apricot skin.

On tap at River Rock Taproom. Pours clear golden with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Floral, grapefruit, tropical, resin. Tasty

At SAVOR. Poured a rich, whiskey-color with a wispy head, legs. Aroma was woody, dark fruits, light booze with plenty of figs. Pleasant stuff.

Tons of whiskey, fig, some florals. Kind of limey aroma. Brown murky pour with decent head. Boozy sweet finish. Pretty decently balanced. Tap at Savor.

Can. Pours clear mahogany, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is dusty, cola, cocoa. Flavor is light plus sweet, hint of tartness, raisin, cola, lemon. Merlin body. Think this one is a tad infected. Not to bad though
