25cl bottle @ the 7th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Aug 14, thanks to Skids. Don’t think any of us found it particularly creamy for a cream porter. Pours very dark brown with off-white head. Sharp, woody notes with a strange malt character. Not tickling many tastebuds this.

The third and final bottle from this brewery at the August Shrewsbury beer swap meeting: cheers Gareth for going to the World Cup and thinking of us while there. Not too sure why the word ’Cream’ is in the name because I found this dark beer with a ruby hue to be watery and fairly harsh at the same time and certainly not ’creamy’. There was a slight woody, nutty feel to both the aromas and taste but this did not float my boat: sorry Gareth.

The second bottle (of three) from this brewery shared at the August 14 gathering of the Shrewsbury beer share group. Cheers Gareth for the brews. Red hue to the amber body, a lasting off-white head sat on top. Fairly malty brew with definite toffee and caramel flavours within the semi-sweet taste ans aromas. I prefered this to the APA and their Cream Porter. Medium bodied and well made all round.

310ml bottle at the August meeting of the Shrewsbury bottle share group: one of three beers we had from this brewery, cheers Gareth for bring them back from the World Cup. Light amber body with a thin white covering. Semi-sweet for an APA in my opinion, not that I have had many. Decent enough blend but didn’t have a hop bite or strong flavour in any way. Nothing wrong with it, safe and undemanding in it’s make up.
