Bottle. Nice head with medium duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, licorice and notes of chocolate. This more like a light porter. Surprised they call this a schwarz.

Bottle 50 cl. Hazy orangey brown with a firm, dense, off-white head leaving some laces. Unclean aroma of hard roasted malt with a whiff of butter and a sourish touch. Medium-bodied, hard roasted malt and rotten fruits. Dry, lightly malt bitter finish. Not overly pleasant. 231208

Bottled, alc. 5.0 % (BB 02/2009). Hazy amber color, small white head. Typical American Pale Ale ryeish hoppy aroma, some yeasty notes too. Starts quite piney hoppy, then finish is soft malty and bisquity, even watery. Late aftertaste is again Amarillo hoppy. Ok brew, but usually APAs are not so exciting.
