Bottle 50 cl. Pours black with a reddish hue and a small, beige head. Aroma is strangely non-descript and almost absent - slightly rotten perhaps. Rich body, subtle coffee notes, but an extremely messy and unpleasant flavour pattern with just booze appearing at the end. Had high expectations for this, but they sure fucked this up. 021116

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy yellow with a small, white head. Nose is yeasty, phenollic, slighhtly citrusy. Body is very sweet - bordering syrupy - fruity and yeasty, with a lingering bitterness present at all times. Some stingy, late phenols. Read a lot of good things about this beer, not sure why. To me it’s pointing in all directions. 021116

Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Murky yellow with a decent off white cap. Nose is pale malts, straw, light floral notes, lemon rind. Taste comprises mellow fruits, lemon, straw, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

fairly dark brown, smooth large brown head. lots of roasted malts, also dark caramel and chocolate, perhaps some coffee..aroma resembles a hard roasted sweet stout, or a very dry brown ale. flavor is sweet malty, roasted malty, flowery hoppy, but not that much hops, tastes perhaps a bit like a gently hopped american brown ale. oats used in the brewing and it shows as softness and sweetness. quite tasty.. btw. the bottle states the style as a pitch black stout. (and it is far from pitch black, but it could easily go as an oatmeal stout)

bottle. cloudy yellow, smooth white head. aroma is very flowery, also very herbal with what i would put as italian spices, wild and spicy herbal, but in a very good way. Flavor is fairly strange, there is a sour almost citrussy, but seems to be from spices or from yeast flavor, and then the usual malty sweetness and some belgian yeast wildness. the citrussy notse (lemongrass?) play really well with the yeast and the malts. very drinkable and really tasty beer, and the alc% is even low. lots of flavor compared to strength.
