appears darker than the 24 juleøl. dark brown, fluffy light brown head. Aroma is quite hoppy, mildly spiced, rye bread, roasted malts. Flavor is roasted malts, well proportioned hops, nearly no christmas spices on top of the style, but perhaps a little bit of brown cookies kinda flavor. Taste is a good deal better than the cheap dark czech beers out there, the metallic caramel i often find in this kind of beer is very nearly gone. Lots of flavor for a 4.5. very nice brew..

cloudy brown, smooth beige to light brown head. nutty, malty, belgian or dutch yeasty aroma. milder notes of european hops, but i think more prominent in your usual christmas brew from a supermarket. Flavor is nutty, brown sugar, light roasted malts, chillies, cristmas spicse ( brown cookies ) for a spiced beer, this one is quite spicy, but in a very well balanced way. Clearly one of the better danish christmas beers.
