Bottled, thanks fonefan! Dark brown, mid sized head. Caramelly nose. Sweet with medium-full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, toffee and milk chocolate dominates. Very light spicy hops. Low bitterness. Too modern (read boring, toffeeish and hard) malt. Caramel is rarely good in beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a reddish brown with a beige head. Complex aroma, some rotten, overripe fruit and almost a tart Flemish Red character - and then coconut, that’s many layers. Body is roasty and dry but annoyingly thin, loads of pleasant coconut character. The coconut really comes out well, but personally I’d like some more sweetness and body to soak up all that flavour. 290816

Bottled, thanks fonefan! Dark brown, rich firm head. Huge coconut aroma. Sweetish with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Loads of coconut, some chocolate and toffee. Low-medium bitterness. Well made, except for the fact that coconut dominates to the fullest, leaving little trace of anything else. Tough to rate a beer that is all around great, then stuffed to the limit with something that kills all the goodness.

Bottle. It’s a hazy, yellowish golden beer with a dense, finger-thick white head. The aroma is quite flowery, elderflower that is, with a spiced, lemony hint, orange zest and a touch of pale malts. It’s perhaps a bit heavy on the carbonation, still sort of silky smooth, it’s medium bodied and semi-dry, with a pleasant bitterness level. Orange zest, some lemon and a nice elderflower touch in the flavor. Wouldn’t mind more of the elderflower though. Long, dry, orangey finish with elderflower and bitterness. A quenching, easy drinkable and quite tasteful blond ale that I would like a bit more pronounced all the way. 160812
