Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Unpleasant, stingy aroma, honeyish but also slightly rotten. No fresh aroma hops, that’s for sure. Medium body, subtle caramel and fruit but most of all a very unrefined, crude bitterness, totally out of balance with anything. 040416

Beer gift from Skinnyviking, many thanks for a 500ml bottle. A patchy, fawn-coloured head to a coal black body with a deep brownish shade. Coconut smell alright added by chocolate. Similar taste of coconut chocolate. Not that overly sweet to the ending. Quite drinkable, a little unvaried though (shared with Finn and djoeye at a Sunday session, Tromsø 03.04.2016).

Bottle, 6.0%. Pours hazy dark coffee brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and roast, with notes of fruit and touches of hops. Roasty flavour with malty and slightly sourish, grainy and fruity touches. Hints of hops and liquorice. Bitter, roasty aftertaste. Drinkable but nothing really special.

Bottle, 6.0%. The label is different from the one on here, but the commercial deScription fits exactly. The ABV differs from both of the listed options here, as well. Faint aroma of salt liquorice and perhaps a little smoke. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Small frothy tan head. The flavour starts off nicely roasted with a touch of coffee. There is a feel more than a flavour of liquorice in the finish and perhaps a little smoke once again. Not as powerful as expected, but well-balanced.
