Third of a pint at the Shrewsbury CAMRA Beer Festival on 25th September 2025. Slight haze to the dull golden body, white head. Tropical fruit aroma and taste, so many of the beers at the festival had the same flavours, got bored with this one.

Very slightly hazy pale gold with a frothy white head and a citrus and subdued juicy fruit aroma. Light and fruity, mellow tropicals and sweet citrus fruit, hop bitterness and a dry bittersweet finish.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a slightly hazy greenish tinged yellow with a small foamy almost white head. Thereโs citrus, lemon and floral hops in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet but with a smidgen of underlying bitterness and a light texture. Favour has floral hops and citrus with a little malts also. Hints of grapefruit and kiwi come later. Finish is dry with some sharpness. This is decent โ better than I expected.

[On tap at the Greyfriar, Reading.] A cloudy amber pour with an immediate fast fading white head; rather lacking in aroma, perhaps some stone fruit?; also much thinner than expected with a milky body and a muted fruity taste; then a bitter finish with some medicinal notes; and a lingering reminder of hospital disinfectant.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 17/09/2025.
Hazed orange topped with a lasting white cap.
Nose is juicy tropicana, pine resin, guava, subtle hop spice, raw pineapple.
Taste comprises grapefruit, mandarin, light stone fruit, grass, pine resin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy to lightly resinous hop bitterness allied to a mellow boost.
Solid juicy DIPA that maintains a good bitter balance.

Can. A light haze on gold beer, thin bubbly pale cream colour head but, lasts a minute, so that's a win. Light palate, semi dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light bodied pale malts, a fairly forward creamy sweetness, a touch of less welcome milky sweetness. Crisp cooling pine into light bright savoury skunk and juicy tangy citrus and stone fruits. Mild candy fruits on the crisp and semi dry finish. Yeah, nothing new here but delivered with aplomb. Would happily sit on this until I needed to lie down.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Light clear gold. Aroma has light hops and citrus. Flavourwise iit's similar. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Bland. Worst beer I,'ve had from this lot. I blame the cask though, LOLZ.
