Tap tasted on the 13/11/2017 at the Brewpub Levare (Porto). Slightly hazy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of hops, orange peel and some grapefruit. Taste is bitter and a bit metallic, leading to a medium hoppy finish. Next one please!

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch AI001 (BBF 16/01/2018). AROMA: medium malt with slightly sweet notes of caramel, medium-low oxidized hops (cheesy) and faint citrus. APPEARANCE: ambar color and very slightly hazy. medium ivory head with good retention. TASTE: medium pine and resin hop flavor, followed by medium-low caramelly-sweet malt profile. meidum-high bitterness with an almost dry and bitter finish that endures. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an american IPA already oxidized.

Review based on the 2017 BA guidelines (style Brown Porter). Bottle 33 cl - Batch BP001 (BBF 20/01/2018). AROMA: medium roasted malt aroma with notes of coffee and lisght dark chocolate. low sweetness and low nuttyness. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque with slight ruby highlights. m?dium light brown head with average retention. TASTE: medium roasted malt flavor with notes of coffee and nuttiness. m?dium bitterness with a dry, bitter and roasted finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an OK brown porter.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch BT001 (BBF 18/01/2018). AROMA: m?dium candied pear and oranges aroma, with a low solvente-like note. slight peppery presence. APPEARANCE: light amber and clear. medium ivory head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with less intensity (candied pears), slight solvente and a caramelized over-sweet malt presence. medium-low to low bitterness with a sweet finish. unbalanced. PALATE: medium to medium-high body. medium carbonation. OVERALL: a tripel with some fermentation problems that seems under atenuated.

APPEARANCE: pale orange-like color and clear. médium white head with average retention. TASTE: médium coriander flavor with a background note of yeast and wheat. médium-low bitterness with an almost dry finish. PALATE: médium body with médium carbonation. OVERALL: a Witbier that seems to be a bit oxidized, because the same beer at the Brewery was a lot superior. demands retasting.

AROMA: medium malty-sweet aroma with slight honey notes. very faint cereal husk aroma in the background. APPEARANCE: strong gold color and slightly hazy. medium white head with good retention. TASTE: medium malt flavor similar to the aroma (slightly sweet with a honey character). medium-low bitterness with a dry and slightly bitter finish. faint sulphur note otherwise clean fermentation. PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a very nice lager.
