On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Slightly hazy deep golden with a small, white head. Fruity aroma with lots of tropical fruits (passionfruit), citrus and hints of pineapple, malt and pine. Medium sweet with lovely hoppy flavours and a nice bitterness. Bitter aftertaste with notes of grapefruit. Delicious IPA!

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma of fruity hops (Galaxy, Citra and Chinook), mixed tropical fruits with pineapple and citrus. The hops dominate the flavour too, lots of fruity goodness, while the bitterness really sets in in the aftertaste. Light bodied for its strength. Delicious.

On tap @ Cardinal. Pitch black body with a big, creamy stable beige head. Strong and fine aroma of dark malt, coffee, dark fruit, dark chocolate and slightly roasted. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, coffee, dark chocolate, dry fruit and pleasant bitterness. Fine body with a long aftertaste of roasted malt, chocolate and pleasnet bitterness. A modern, classic porter close to perfection.

Draught @ Stearin. Pours very hazy pale golden with a small frothy white head that leaves some sticky lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity, herbal and floral with crackers, grapefruit juice, gooseberries, freshly cut grass, star fruit, passionfruit, mango, orange zest, lemon zest, pine needles, black currants, dried flowers and dry wood. Taste is bitter, fruity and herbal with crackers, star fruit, grapefruit juice, pine needles, gooseberries, black currant leaves, moist soil, lemon zest, freshly cut grass, lemon balm, grapefruit rinds, cape gooseberries, pineapple, unripe mango and subtle hints of chives. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, clean, slightly astringent, slightly oily bitter and medium bodied. Finish is bitter, slightly fruity, herbal and lasts forever with crackers, grapefruit rinds, star fruit, passionfruit, black currant leaves, pine needles, freshly cut grass, lemon balm, dill, and lemon grass. San Diego perfection and their best yet. Could drink this all day so it’s another homie rating for me.

Draught @ SNIPA Day on Bishops Arms Park Avenue. Pours very hazy pale golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is very fruity and tiny herbal with crackers, peaches, passionfruit, gooseberries, pink grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles, papaya, mango, lemon balm, dried flowers and hints of oily garlic and leek. Taste is bitter, fruity and herbal with crackers, freshly cut grass, pine needles, grapefruit juice, peaches, passionfruit, leek, mango, papaya, lemon balm, dill, soil, grapefruit rinds, lemon zest, black currant leaves and subtle hints of metal. Mouthfeel is dry, soft, tiny round, astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter an herbal with crackers, unripe tropical fruits, freshly cut grass, lemon balm, gooseberries, leek, black currant leaves and hints of resinous wood and metal. It’s very very tasty but there are some leek, garlic and metal elements that takes it away from the top IPAs.
