Bottle, 750 ml, shared with Max, kajser27, Miro B and Krešo. Clear orange. Quite sweet, intensive honey, some herbs, wood, dense. Medium bodied.

Bottle shared. Amber color, no head. Aroma is heavy honey. Flavor is even more honey, although there is a hint of some sort of fruit. Definitely quite boozy though. And sweet.

Sample thanks to sjogro. Clear amber with no head. Alcohol, honey, port, soft old wood, oxidized honey, sherry, soft spices, caramel. Very sweet, under medium bitter. Full bodied. Tastes a lot like port or sherry, pretty nice.

Bottle cracked at the homestead. Poors clear copper with no head nor bubbles. Sweet honey, raisans, beeswax, prunes, soft hints of licorice, herbs, nutty wood. Rich and sweet, with leathery and rusty bitter edge, warming booziness. Proper drink for the stormy cold evenings. Seems appropriate to drink this with a sore throat. Somewhat reminiscent of pinetreetip honey coughing syrup. Lovely.

2015 bottle. Hazy deep amber color with no head. Aroma is oxidized honey, cellar, Pedro Ximenez, port, nutty. Taste is nutty, Pedro Ximenez again, but less sweet, port, figs, raisins, just a bit cherry. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Great stuff, and extremely drinkable.

Danke an Grzesiek79. Süß erdiger Beginn, viel Honig, weich, äußerst süffig. Zum Mittelteil alkoholischer mit trockenem Hintergrund, z.T. brennend, harmonisch. Kurzer Abgang, milder süßer Honig, erneut erdig. 11/11/12/9//11
