Tropical hop aroma of mango, grapefruit, and some light pine. Hazed yellowish pour with a thick, lasting white head and heavy lace. The fruity hops work well on the flavor as well. Nice feel, fairly creamy and smooth with a long, dry close.

Grapefruit hop mixes nicely with the oat flavors and some wheat/grainy notes. Cloudy golden orange with a strong lacing. Good sweet to bitter ratio. Nice mouthfeel.

The Amarillo actually comes through pretty nicely. Golden in color with a white head and drippy lace. Good malty flavor. Some hops for balance. One of the better make liquors I have tried.

Hazy burnt orange. 2 finger off white yellowish head. Tropical with oats, wheat and grapefruit aroma. Good crisp mouthfeel but a little bit on the sweet side. Crisp taste feeing fast to a dense finish. Mango, passion fruit and grapefruit dominate.

Light yellow 2 finger dark white head. Not a lot of aroma. Light maybe some caramel and something else. Good dense mouthfeel. The finish lacks any real taste and everything fades pretty fast. Up front, a little lemon and orange.

This was poured into their half glass.
The appearance had a softer golden to semi-bronzed almost yellow color with a thin concave bar pour’s kind of light white head. No lacing appeared after the head died off.
The smell started off with a floral to semi-sweet grassiness leading into a slight sweet to spicy rye, subtle yet there.
The taste copied the smell pretty nicely with no aftertaste yet a sweet rye finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt right as it let the rye take the lead on the harshness and bitterness.
Overall, as a rye ale, this one works. I’d have it again.

This was poured in a half sized pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy bright yellow color with a slim foamy concave head that dissipated instantly. There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell had a sweet to lightly spiced grassy fresh slightly piney hops. A decent underscore of citrus helps to size up and yet balance the nose.
The taste was semi-sweet through the combination of citrus to sweet grass. Spice gets underneath and the wheat is extremely subtle. I barely noticed it. There’s no aftertaste nor finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a super sessionable feel about it. The carbonation is there but is fairly tame to allow the spice from the Amarillo hops to become the bitterness and they do a good job.
Overall, super nice APWA, good job Prohibition Pig, I’d have this again.

Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and cocoa. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate, coffee and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
