Bottle thanks to Jcwattsrugger at my tasting. Pours cloudy gold White head. Nose of dirty baby diapers and hops. Taste of bad hops and pine with some diaper residue. Lightish body. Off.

22 oz bottle. Hazy copper pour with an off-white head. Aroma of red apple, berry, caramel hints. Flavor is mostly toasted biscuit with some caramel and toffee, little hints of red apple and citrus. Kind of a tartness to it. Fairly thin for a doppelbock. Rather tame.

Growler fill from the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a nice light tan head. Chocolatey, roasty aroma. Ashy coffee flavor with cocoa and some herbal hops coming through. In the end, I thought this was just okay.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured near black with a brown head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma was overwhelmingly sweet with butterscotch and just a hint of dryness. Flavor was the same with overwhelmingly sweet butterscotch and a bit of a dry finish. Not enjoyable at all.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear amber orange with a white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was full of sweet grain and light pine with hints of alcohol and light fruit. Flavor was similar and had sweet bread and grains with some alcohol and a bit of an odd green apple note.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy orange with a near white head that dissipated to the edges and laced nicely. Aroma was full of citrus with some light flora, sweet grains and an odd green apple note. Same green apple note was present with the citrus and sweet grains and it threw the beer off...
