Tap at the brewery - medium amber pour - strongly resinous aroma - quite dank in the nose - medium dry, with spicy and grassy/peppery hops - quite floral - finish is dry and peppery - very nice IPA.

Tap @ brewery. Pretty hazy, darkish orange appearance with a cream colored head that has good lacing and retention. Really a nice piney, resiny, moderately hoppy, caramel malty aroma. Toasty caramel malty, peanut shell, moderately resiny, piney hoppy, a bit roasty flavor. Liked the aroma a little better than the flavor but pretty solid.

Tap @ brewery. Clear, light yellow appearance with a nice white head that has retention. Aroma is similar to a witbier but it must just be the Belgian yeast. A little spicy, peppery yeast aroma. Clean, light belgian golden ale with a nice spiciness to complement the fruit notes.

Tap at the brewery - dark ruby beer - very hefty, more along the lines of a stout - despite having so many ingredients, everything comes together well - the bitterness of the dark malt works well with moderate notes of spicy rye and woody hops - the dash of smoked malt adds an earthiness and a slight autumnal, campfire kind of quality - there is a subtle chocolate sweetness - toasty rye finish, with lingering bitterness - very tasty.

NOTE: This is a Belgian ale, not a golden ale - tap at the brewery - hazy golden - pillowy head - nose of semi-sweet banana and pineapple, a light bit of phenols and dusty/earthiness - full and fairly creamy in the mouth - a bit sweet for the style for my taste, but the sweetness does compliment the tropical fruit flavors - a bit of clove and spice/pepper phenols - there is an acidity on the tail end I am not a fan of, but this is fairly solid and flavorful - just wish it were drier.
