Cask at GBBF 2016, Day 1 - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a foamy, white head. This is a good and juicy IPA, with notes of ripening citrus, some tropical aspect, and a bit of oily pine and pale bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous in the finish, with more vibrant citrus notes. Solid.

A hazed golden amber ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous herbaceous floral hops, light sulfur notes, tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and pleasant. Cask Days 2016.

Can. An almost clear, pale orange colored beer with a small white head. The aroma is hop forward, pine cones and oranges, with a good dash of malty sweetness. It’s full bodied, a tad sweetish, with a nice bitterness, and a nice bitterness. Wouldn’t mind more bitterness though. Oranges, pine cones and some pale malts, all lasting for a good while. Sure a nice one, but a tad sweet and a bit low on bitterness. 161022

Poured from a 16 oz can with a canning date of 09/28/2016. Aroma is very hop forward, but with a somewhat old school hop profile. Lots of resin, pine, grapefruit, citrus and a slight, dank, oniony note. Light to medium light cracker malt notes and a hint of alcohol. Pours a fairly clear, bright gold color with a medium sized, fairly thick and pillowy, white head that shows good retention as it very slowly recedes to the edges where it lingers. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with a medium light cracker malt note and a hint of biscuit. High bitterness and a light alcohol spiced note. Fairly high hop flavors with a lot of resin, pine and grapefruit. some lighter citrus and dank notes as well. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a good clean IPA with a strong old school hop profile. Tons of hop character from the dry hopping. Good alcohol and sweetness to balance the bitterness.

Canned, 500 ml, courtesy of JFK10000. Shared with him and Miro. Pours clear amber, off-white head. Malty, caramel, some vague hoppy notes, bit fruity. Finishes dry and bitterish. Light to medium bodied. Bit disappointing, but probably not the freshest one.
