(Can @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Dec 19 2014) Pours hazy pale gold with a moderate dense white head, lace. Aroma has a nice blend of grapefruit, orange rind, grassy/leafy aromas, pretty good. Palate has lots of grapefruit find, orange rind and flesh, bit of peach, grassy, lightly sweet simple pale malt. Towards the finish it dries out with citrus pith, grassy, light pine, bit of grain. Lightly bitter but appropriate for style. Light body with medium carbonation. Nothing absolutely wow about this beer, but quite a competent session IPA with a good blend of hops over a simple body, and on the fresher side for an American IPA in Sweden.

(Can @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Dec 19 2014) Pours clear amber with a whitish head. Aroma of malts mostly, caramel, grainy, some lightly stewed fruit?, lightly hopped overall really. On the palate, fairly similar, malty but light and grainy, with weak hops, more grain on the finish, barely there bitterness. Light body with moderate carb. Just bland, doesn’t do anything really. Hop fade might not have helped it but doesn’t feel like a dynamic beer. Seems to embody the bad connotation of amber ale.

Can. Tall Boys Beer Market, Leeds. Clear amber. Filmy, off white head. Toffee caramel malts. Some spice. Some dry fruit. Taste is light sweet. Dry at the back of the mouth. Smooth, and easy drinking. Finishes a little dry, with a smidge of sweet. Ok.

Can at Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Fruity and hoppy with grapefruits and notes of tangerine, herbs and caramel. Fairly sweet with hoppy flavours and a decent bitterness. Refreshing and certainly a decent IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Swami's IPA on 11 Dec 2014 at 20:38 - Score: 7
