330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Liquorice, roasted malt and a hint of coffee in the aroma. Roasted taste with roasted malt, coffee, liquorice, cocoa and some slightly soapy hops. Not as hoppy as I was expecting, so this is almost drifting into hoppy stout territory, rather than being a black IPA. Nevermind that, categorising can be crass. This is a good beer.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, lemons, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, lemons, and hops, leading tona dry finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown to orange with a huge off white head. Aroma is peachy and smooth grapefruity. Greasy. Peachy and citrusy. Bitter and lingering citrusy hoppy. Dry and hoppy, bitter finish.

33 cl bottle @ PBF VIII. Batch 27, BBE 06/2014. Aroma has floury vanilla, some raspberries and reny notes. Flavour has resiny notes, some leathery notes and berries. Decent.

Bottled@PBF VIII, thanks teddybeer. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, toasted notes, mild alcohol and some toffee. Flavour is toast, some ashes and mild herbal notes. OK, but not too complex.

Bottled at PBF. Hazy dark brown, mid sized head. Pleasant teropical fruit aroma with some grapefruit, pears and rye bread. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Licorice under a thick blanket of pink grapefruit hops. Mid bitter finish.

Taste is grainy, slightly hoppy and bitter with hints of chocolate, cocoa and ripe fruits. Finish is malty, slightly grainy and bitter. Okay, slightly too grainy but otherwise pretty good black IPA.

Bottled@PBF VIII.Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, but a bit too much alcohol and fruity+floral hops. Flavour is toffee, fruits, honey and some toffeeish notes. A bit too sweet and simplistic to be really good.
