Hazy dark golden color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Floral hop, berry and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, blackberry and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a berry and hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bomber from BevMo Bakersfield. Nose is coffee, light cocoa, hints of vanilla and bourbon. Black with a medium, lightly lacing cinnamon tan head. Flavor is moderately sweet mocha latte with hints of vanilla and bourbon. Aroma is a little light but the flavor is good. I only bought the $18 bottle to get over it hundred and get my $10 off.

Bottle from Bravery. Pours clear chestnut, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is bourbon, toffee, vanilla, caramel. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, boozy. Medium body. A bit one-dimensional and over-barreled, but not bad.

Tap at Brävery. Pours clear reddish black, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is rich, roast, cocoa, mocha, hint of bourbon, molasses. Flavor is balanced, rich, fairly sweet, light bitter, roasty, bakers chocolate, just a hint of oaky bourbon, light vanilla. Full body, silky mouthfeel. Quite solid

22 oz. bottle. Pours black, with a medium, tan head. The aroma is caramelized sugar, light smoke, leather, black cherries, toasted oak, and mild coffee. Sweet and malty, with a drying finish. Medium to heavy body, with a sharp, grainy, and slightly warming mouthfeel. This is an enjoyable, aromatic, and complex malt-bomb.

From bomber to tulip. Lots of booze on the nose, and other subtle blends. Black with brown head that quickly fades to nothing. Barrel is all over the flavor - with the tequila overpowering.
