Very clear golden coloured body with a light haze of blonde and straw, all with a relatively thick, three to four centimetre tall off-white head that's soapy, but leaves a pretty ugly lace on top after a few seconds. Aroma of grass, straw, hay, flowers, a dash of caramelised sugars and a subdued specialty grain bite, but the biscuity and bready yeast finish is noticeable with a hint of alpha acids from hops in the finish, as well, at least in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours show at first with some noticeable biscuity and crisp lager notes from the malt and the yeast showing through, with a dry hoppy finish and some softer sweetness from caramel and toffee at the finish. Aftertaste shows a nice robust and balanced malt flavour with some softer hop notes, a dry and crisp yeast and bready bite at the end as well as some complexity from nuts, rustic earthiness and a light sweetness at the end from the toffee and caramelised sugars with the pungency at first and fading to a nice blended balance at the end. Overall, a rich and crisp beer with a lot of flavours throughout, including some noticeable hops and a very strong earthy and rustic nuttiness, all well balanced, especially for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Kroger in Dayton, Ohio on 10-August-2021 for US$1,87 sampled at my house here in Washington on 19-October-2021.

Sample at the Columbus Brewpourium. Clear copper-gold pour with a medium bone white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hop, grapefruit and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the Columbus Brewpourium. Cloudy dark brown pour with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Hazelnut and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of roast malt, hazelnut and coffee. The finish is roasty and nutty with a hazelnut aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the Columbus Brewpourium. Clear pale golden color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lace. Fruity and wheaty aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of floral wheat, bready malt and fruit. The finish is wheaty with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, fruit and slight grassy hops. The finish is sweet with a biscuit malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
