Can at home picked up from Costco advent calendar. A clear caramel amber coloured pour with a lasting loose beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, toffee, twiggy malts, brandy snap sugars, cinnamon bun. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sticky toffee, caramel, some dried fruits, buttery biscuit base, dried fruits, light spices. Burnt sugars.

Smoked meat, caramel malt, and hay aroma. Amber with small head. Moderately sweet caramel malt, smoked meat, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body - on the lighter side for a doppelbock.

Can behind day 24 of the advent calendar. It pours clear rich ruby with a decent khaki head. The aroma is sweet, tangy, plenty of dark fruits, cola cubes, plum, cherry drops, brown bread, fruit cake, toasted brown sugars and toffee. The taste is dry, toasty, bitter - sweet, smooth, plenty of dark and dried fruits, cherry drops, plum pudding, cola cubes, toasted brown sugars, brown bread, earth and just a touch of alcohol with a toasty finish. Medium+ body and average carbonation. Not a huge amount to it tbh. Drinks fine though.

500ml can - Advent Calendar from Costco. Always loved this style of beer. This version is pretty sweet and lots of caramel. Solid

16oz can. Filtered bronze amber body. Smooth caramel tone. A pretty straightforward Bock, not that Doppel or Dunkel. Easy drinking for the ABV, Rich malt tone. Well made. Good.

500 ml can from the Advent Calendar. Nose is toasty malt, caramel, raisin, orange peel, bit of spicy hops. Deep, clear, amber-orange with a tall, airy head. Rich malt flavor, not too sweet, toast, raisins, caramel, spice, citrus. Very tasty stuff. Well balanced. Not sweet, not too heavy. Impressive. The body is kind of light for the style, but it works.

16oz can from Lidl. Aroma was light sweet caramel notes. Light grassy character. Pleasant light toasted notes. Decent stuff.

Draught @ Amrit, Berlin. Pours hazy amber with dtable white head. Clear sroma of yeast, malt an banana. Seeetish flavour of malt and yeast, with notes of banana and hoppy touches. Sweetish, estery aftertaste with acidic notes. Well, a regular beer for the style, but certainly not bad.

Hazy amber. Aroma is slight phenolic some citrus very minerally. Taste is light sweet with lots of minerally stuff and sour carbonation. A bit flat. Not very aromtac nor smooth. Meh

Optisch sehr hell strohgelb mit massig feiner Perlage. Die weiße feinporige Schaumkrone gibt sich flaumig und mäßig stabil. In der Nase etwas zurückhaltend, leicht getreidig und leicht heuig/stohig hopfig. Den Start macht ein spritziger, frischer Antrunk. Im Mittelteil präsentiert sich ein schlanker Körper mit leichten getreidigen Noten sowie dezent würzig-herben Anklängen. Trotz des schlanken Charakters wirkt dieses Bier nicht wässerig, bietet ein ganz passables Mundgefühl so wie eine angenehme Süffigkeit. Es ist sicher nicht überragend, aber die Gesamtaromatik zeigt eine runde Sache und man kann keine Fehler erkennen. Im Abgang klingt die Getreidigkeit kurz nach und macht Platz für eine ganz akkurate Hopfenherbe. So erwartet man das auch von einem Pils.
