Singapore holiday - day 1/13, side-trip to Malaysia. At the Shamrock, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, a pint draught. Aroma: vaguely grassy, probably more aromatic served closer to room temperature. Appearance: clear, very handsome dark copper, one finger tan cream. Palate: light-bodied and slick, average carbonation; nice lingering malty finish. Taste: lightly sweet, loads of biscuit; very refreshing.

Looks like Guinness.... Smoke nose, chickory, strong coffee, roasted malts. Silky, soft nitro mouth feel and carb. Low to medium bitter, creamy, roasty, and smoky coffee finish.

Can from the lcbo. Hazy yellow pour, large white head. Nice malted wheat Aroma, subtle pine hops, hints of citrus. Full mouth feel, soft carb. Decent malty finish, subtle sweetness, with more pine. Better than I expected.

Cab from the lcbo. Gold pour, large white head. Aroma is grassy, pale sweet malts, slightly nutty, not very hop housey at all. Low carb, silky mouth feel. Sweet malts, no hops in the end. Meh.

Black with a bit of light that escapes, looks like a porter. Small bubbly off white, beige head. Odd, malty, cereal, dme aroma. Body is thin, and watery, carb is very low, almost flat. Finish is pretty bland, light malts, more dme. Meh, i guess incredibly clod this would be refreshing? Lawn mower beer if you ask me.
