16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Mahogany brown color topped by a frothy tan head. Sweet toasted malt aroma brings notes of toffee, dried fruits and honey. Flavor follows nose with added notes of dark cherries and plums. A touch of brown sugar and earthy yeast bring this winter ale to a tasty conclusion. Didn’t I ever tell you about Bumbles? Can from Ambler beer garden: pours hazy yellow with small head. Aroma is mango, tropical fruit, mineral. Taste is mango and fruity, but still has a nice salty gose backbone. In other words, this is a nice example of a gose that remains a gose, without being a smoothie bomb.

On tap at Hamilton Tap & Grill in Hamilton, NJ. Pours a hazy orange brown with a rapidly dissipating beige head. Aroma of toasted malt, cinnamon and ginger. Flavor is tangy toasted malt, allspice, cinnamon, ginger and boozy heat. Distinctively bitter finish and aftertaste.
