Draught @ The Biergarten Atlantic City. Citrus aroma, extremely hazy rich yellow with a small foamy whitish head, medium carbonation, mildly bitter citrus-pineapple taste, thin body, long citrus finish. Smooth and flavorful.

12 oz. can from Total Wine, Union, NJ. Pours a clear gold color with a large white head and great retention. Very good lacing. No aroma at all. As advertised, it has a light bread and sweet malt flavors with no bitterness. Crisp, yet soft mouthfeel. Medium body. Very refreshing and easy drinking.

On tap at Tavern on the Lake in Hightstown, NJ. Cloudy orange gold color. Small creamy beige head. Big tropical fruit aroma. Bittersweet citrus flavor upfront. Notes of grapefruit, orange and stone fruit abound. Warming alcohol in middle. Finishes with flavors of resiny pine and grapefruit peel.

On tap at brewery. Number one with a bullet. Pale gold color. Big lemon zest aroma. Flavor is sweet lemon, some Old Bay and bready malt. Light and refreshing. Very little carbonation as it was on cask.

On tap at brewery. Number one with a bullet. Honey gold pour. Large foamy whitish head. Citrus hop aroma. Flavor upfront is big on hops. Bready, grainy malt backbone. Complex hop bill hints at white grapes, lemon peel, black pepper and lime. long bitter finish and aftertaste.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Opaque brown color topped by bubbly tan head. Roasted malt aroma has notes of chocolate and cherry. Flavor mirrors nose. Bittersweet chocolate, dark cherries and some oakiness.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Mahogany brown color topped by a frothy tan head. Sweet toasted malt aroma brings notes of toffee, dried fruits and honey. Flavor follows nose with added notes of dark cherries and plums. A touch of brown sugar and earthy yeast bring this winter ale to a tasty conclusion. Didn’t I ever tell you about Bumbles? Bumbles bounce!
