Bomber, shared by Scott. Burnt toast, cloves, chocolate, and sherry. Sweet and boozy, with a reasonable bitterness. Heavy and a bit warm and acidic. Not bad.

On tap at Denver Rare Beer Tasting 8. Pours a cloudy amber with small beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong fig, leather, wood, yeast. Medium body, vanilla, leather, oak, boozy finish, good.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/25/2017. The beer is a hazy amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, citrus and hops. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, spice, orange bitters and earthy hops. The finish is fruity with a spiced orange and malt aftertaste. Interesting beer, pretty good overall.

Draft at Odyssey. Nose is light citrus with a bit of papaya and bubblegum. Hazy urine yellow with a medium heavy lacing off white head. Flavor is moderately bitter with contrasting heavy tropical sweetness and fruitiness tasting much better than the nose would lead me to believe.

Hazy deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, anise, alcohol, vanilla, caramel, nuts, earth, licorice and some deep toffee sweetness. Full-bodied; Strong rich roasted malt flavours at first with a lot of caramel, tons of vanilla and deep alcohol notes and much more anise and licorice flavours throughout. Aftertaste is deep and dark with a lot of spices, some earthy malt and a good deal of pungent vanilla and oak. Overall, a nice baltic porter with super deep flavours and a rich malt backbone throughout with vanilla and some earth notes throughout - not as nice as the ones from the baltic states (i’m talking about Zywiec Porter of course), but a nice option! I sampled this twelve ounce CAN purchased from Total Beverage in Thornton, Colorado on 15-March-2016 for US$1,96 sampled at home in Washington on 09-July-2016.

12 oz. can. Pours dark brown, with a thin, tan head. The aroma is bitter walnuts, caramel, bittersweet chocolate, and tart cherries. Sweet and malty, a bit bitter, with a slightly off sour flavor. Medium body, syrupy, and a little watery. This is an aromatic scotch ale, but I must’ve let it sit in the fridge too long.

12 oz. can. Clear black, with a thin, brown head. The nose is brilliant, with notes of walnuts, vanilla, cinnamon, mild, bitter chocolate, and some light earthiness. Sweet and malty, with a bit of bitterness and a little off sour. Medium to heavy body, sticky, and syrupy. This is a surprisingly aromatic, unique and complex beer. Quite nice.
