6.5/10
The body is thin, the spice is all flavor with no heat. Something is lacking.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange haziness with a two finger white foamy head which slid off at a nice pace and left some spotty lace
Aroma: tropical hop creaminess; lighter tones of citrusy hops and freshly cut grass; delicate maltiness underneath
Flavor: bittersweet - well blended between the prior noted hop aromas; keen aftertaste of the tropical hops
Texture: medium bodied, leaned more towards being a sipper; finishes creamy through the tropical hops
Overall: seemed borderline to being a milkshake IPA but whatever, for the most part it's a nice NEIPA worthy of coming back to.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: muddy burnt yellow color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which slid off at a decent pace and left some light messy lace
Aroma: pine, citrusy and subtle grapefruity hop vibes with a super light pineapple too; light malt base
Flavor: moderately blends the prior aromas semi-bittersweet, light aftertaste of pineapple, some plastic and grapefruit
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; some smoothness, finishes pineapple-y, plastic and citrusy
Overall: what's with the plastic in this? well, no dates on the can so I say it's the brewer's fault for not putting those on.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some sweet adjunct notes and floral coffee notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some sweet adjunct notes and floral coffee with a sweet finish. Body is somewhat full with good carbonation with no discernible alcohol notes. Enjoyable pastry stout but maybe a tad too much adjunct.

Black with a medium sized foamy brown head that faded quickly. Intensely boozy with strong toasted coconut, vanilla and chocolate. Exceptionally long finish. Full bodied

Poured from 500mL bottle (2024 vintage; bottle 77 of 300). Near black with small beige head. Dark molasses forward with light roast and soft bourbon barrels rounding things out. The focus here is definitely black strap molasses. Not especially complex, but decently made.

One Stop advent calendar 6/24. They’re doing the heavy hitters on the weekends on purpose, aren’t they? Coconut, coconut, and more coconut. It’s good but too much coconut for me.
