Poured from a can into a tulip glass

Pours a muddy red to maroon to brownish with a finger of light tan head that quickly disappears leaving no lacing

Aroma is strawberry hard candy, fresh ripe raspberry, blueberry and lemon juice.

Taste follows the aroma with a Greek yogurt character meshing with the aforementioned berry medley. The lemon note shows up in a very light tart bite at the end.

Mouthfeel is medium to medium heavy with a low carbonation accenting the smoothie style. Not as sweet as anticipated which works good but also not as tart as expecting. Quite creamy for a beer with no lactose. Finish is short but leaves the mouth watering.

Overall it's a a nice berry smoothie sour ale. I think everything plays well together and at 7% it is very drinkable. Personally a touch more sour would push this up a bit but it's very enjoyable, especially on an 80 degree Friday.. I'd gladly try this again.

16oz can pours pulp.  Nose is oddly sweet and fruity, apricot jam, gooseberry, oats and Chai.  Flavor shows some age through paper, yellow cake, apricots. Fullish finish.  Eh.  7 6.5 6 6 6

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: milky yellow haziness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: peachy to melon to mango and a super light whiff of pineapple hoppy tones; light clean malts; an ever so slight note of white grapes
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a bitter to bittersweet quality; finishes with an edge of dryness and peachy to melon-like tone
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; some smoothness but some of that dryness seems to permeate a bit; mostly good low carb; low-ish hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: pretty good NEIPA I could return to.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: golden orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet pulpy orange to some orange rind bitterness up front with some lemon rind bitterness and a light grapefruity sweet hop note; light creamy note
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet quality with an emphasis on the pulpy sweet orange; finishes leaning into the orange rind with a touch of bitterness
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; some smoothness with a fairly low carb and a medium to low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: pretty good NEIPA I could possibly come back to.

A pint can obtained from Half Time in NY late last year. I have my Buffalo Bayou snifter in place and take the pour. A very thick, very dark liquid topped by a now and gone cover of mahogany brown foam. The nose is heavy with coconut and chocolate. Lift the glass for a drink and there is plenty of coconut, grain, some chocolate, almonds and vanilla. I’ve found coconut difficult to get right as an adjunct in a beer, it’s often artificial tasting. A rather sweet brew, no surprise in that. There’s a proper denseness, always good in an imperial stout. Good enough effort best I can say.
