Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with quickly vanishing white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast with a flowery note. Bitter, hoppy and grassy flavour, ending on an acetic note. Perhaps really good on the beach in the summer, otherwise just drinkable.

Can. Pours pale straw with negligible white head. Skunky aroma with subtle touches of hops. Very mild flavour, mostly fo rice, water, grain and some sweetener. Very watery. Nothing to write home about, although somehow I expected something far worse.

Can, 5%. Sweetish aroma, not so much malty as strangely farty and sugary. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is surprisingly sweet for a light beer. Not grainy or sour, so better than expected.

Poured from 500mL can. Clear pale yellow with very minimal white head. Grainy, slight metallic aroma. Quite watery, but has a bit of sweetness, dry finish.

Synd at RB ikke har et eget kriterium for minner. Husker at vi drakk rikelig av San Miguels filipinske utgave på Filipinene, og at den gjorde det den skulle. Akkurat der og da smakte den fyldig og godt, men det var den gang... Ny rating i Brussel med flaske kjøpt på kinesisk supermarked: På flasken står det faktisk "for domestic sale only"! Bb 07/14. Lys med lite og kort skum. Lite smak og ettersmak fantes ikke.

Bottle. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Clear gold with a large white head. Sweet grainy malt and a touch of grassy hops. Body on the light side of medium, lively carbonation. I was expecting much worse, and although not great, it’s drinkable.

Bottle from Wing Yip Croydon. It pours clear golden yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. The nose is chemically, artificial, lighter fluid/turpentine, corn, sweet apple and pear. The taste is dull sweetness, corn, paper, sweet apple/pear, cardboard and alcohol. Medium body and lowish carbonation. Smells worse that it taste, but it tastes pretty nasty. Bland at best.

Bouteille 330ml. De couleur dorée pâle et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle sucrés avec des notes de pain, de maïs sucré, de fruits (pommes) ainsi que quelques traces de houblon floral. Plutôt mince en bouche avec un pétillement plutôt bas et une texture légèrement aqueuse. Goût légèrement croustillant de grains de malt pâle sucrés avec des traces fruitées (jus de pomme) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un léger goût de maïs sucré avec de très faibles traces de miel puis en finale l’on retrouve une très légère amertume de houblon floral. Post-goût très court, composé de faibles notes herbeuses avec des traces de grains. (2006)

Bottle. Toasty brown sugar malt aroma. Clear chestnut with a moderate tan head. Toast, brown sugar, molasses flavor. Medium body, lively carbonation. Not too bad.
