A hazed blonde saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light banana esters, cloves, light mineral notes, pleasant. On tap at The Wooly, Guelph.

Pours a hazy golden colour with a big white cap from the heavy carbonation, that last a while and leaves thick foamy lace. Floral, fruity aromas with some sugars, mild spicy hops blended with the cherries and other berry notes. A little sourness in the taste, but not too strong with rusty water, and the hibiscus helping adding some fruitiness. Gets cloudy at last pour with some particles. Beautifully smelling, but not the best tasting with the wrong hops, things not well-balanced.

This saison poured a slightly cloudy, light amber colour with a foamy, white head. Medium lacing. Scents include ripe fruit, bubblegum,a little clove and Jiffy toothache remedy. First swig was nice and flavourful. Tastes of bubblegum and ripe fruit most prominent. Finish has a hoppy bitterness with citrus hops lingering.

This blonde ale poured a cloudy light yellow with a bright white, creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include a little corn, sweet malt and cereal. First swig was quite thin but had nice mild flavours of light corn, bread and a little citrus hop. Finish is slightly lemony with mild malt flavour lingering.

This porter poured a deep black colour with a light brown, creamy head. Medium lacing. Scents include ripe fruit, caramel, a little coffee and burnt toast. First swig was smooth and creamy with flavours of burnt malts, coffee and vanilla. Finish is nice and roasty with those nice burnt flavours lingering.

This Belgian Brown poured a nice deep amber colour with a, tan coloured, soapy head. Minimal lacing. Scents include very ripe fruit, a little cloves and a very light vinegarette. First swig was not so much.... Flavours of ripe fruit, caramel and cloves in an oily blanket. Finish was lightly malty with that over-ripe fruit flavour lingering. I’m hoping this is a bit off and not the norm.

This Scottish ale poured a deep amber colour with a creamy. Off white head. Medium lacing. Scents include ripe fruit, caramel, a little smoke and cereal. First swig was a little thin, mouthfeel wise but delicious in the flavour dept. Flavours of caramel, toast and cereal. Finish is nice and roasty with malty caramel flavour lingering.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a creamy, brown head. Nice lacing. Scents include cocoa, coffee and soy sauce. First swig was really creamy with a full bodied flavour. Flavours of smoke, caramel, burnt toast and a little soy. Finish is burnt with light smoke and cocoa flavours lingering.
